The Glowing Goddess Wand
I name the Big Goddess Wands after the mood I’m in while I’m wrapping the wands.. I'm glowing. I'm glowing because I am excited about life and eager about my future. That is the affirmation I was repeating when I was wrapping these wands.
Herb wands are traditionally called smudge sticks. Many culture around the world burn herbs but smudging with White Sage is a Native American practice. I was introduced to the practice of smudging as a child. My Lola and Aunts always had Sage and Rosemary burning in their homes..
Burning Rosemary Aids… Protection, Purification, Psychic Abilities, Healing, Manifesting
White Sage cleanses the atmosphere, spiritual impurities, rids the air of dust, pollution, mold and pet dander. It enhances intuition, dispels negative energy, improves your mood and is used for welcoming ancestors into your space.
And finally, Roses.. Who doesn't love a Rose. Roses are the love/promise/hope plant. It symbolizes balance, and the thorns on represent defense from harm.
How to store for proper drying: Wands are wrapped with fresh herbs and flowers and may not be ready to burn when you receive it. If it isn't dry, place in an open area like a dresser, alter, pin on to wall, on the dash board of your car until wand is light weight, completely dry and ready to burn.
NOTE: Roses and herbs may fall when its lit, be mindful when burning indoors.
How to use: light the top of the wand, blow on it and wave it around so the embers can combust and stay lit. If the wand catches flame, don't panic, just blow it out.
To put it out: use a shell, a ceramic or metal bowl, press the wand into the bottom, continue until all embers are out and there is no more smoke.. I hope this helps!!
